| Anthony Phillips was appointed to the department on October 30, 1995 and was assigned to Recruit Class #316. He was one of the top members in his class and was assigned to Engine Company #10 in April of 1996. Anthony Phillips became a good fireman and loved his job. He really fit in and enjoyed working at the "House of Pain". Tony also had lots of pride in his company, yelling "10 Engine baby" out the window of the wagon as it rolled through the streets. So who is Anthony Phillips ? He's actually alot of things rolled into one. He's a son, a husband, and a dedicated father of 2 boys. He's an inventor... he came into the firehouse one day with a new jacket with the word "Hotsauce" on it. Apparently nobody told Tony the rule that says you can't invent your own nickname. Tony's punishment was that everyone called him mustard, ketchup, relish, and everything else but "Hotsauce'. Finally everyone settled on "Sauce", and it stuck. Tony is a comedian who always made us laugh everyday. If you asked him anything personal he would say, "their you go, gettin' into Daddy's binness" . Tony is a committed church member. He's a big sports fan who loves the Dallas Cowboys, professional wrestling, and he's a "Rocky" fan. He's loves to bowl and was given the nickname "Twinkletoes", which he also may have invented himself. He's a good friend, loved by all who worked with him. A 10 Engine man. |
