Last evening, DC Fire Sergeant Edwin Lehan surrounded by family, true friends, fellow firefighters and his close fire department family of Engine 10 and Truck 13 together celebrated his 30 years of dedication and service to the citizens and visitors of the District of Columbia.

Eddie appointed in 1983, served in some of the busiest companies within the DCFD and has received many awards during his career. He also served the citizens of Prince Georges County as a volunteer for many years. Chief Tony Kelleher of PG's busiest station, Kentland 33 presented Eddie with a plaque as well.

We all wish Eddie the very best and thank him for these past 30 years and for the next 20 as well.

Thanks to retired Sergeant Mike "THE DOG" Skahill of the worlds greatest Barbecue team for making up such a grand meal.
