Ten minutes after 0400 hrs. a BOX ALARM was struck for a report of SMOKE IN A HOUSE in the 1300 blk. of Trinidad Ave. N.E. bringing ENGINE Co. 10 FIRST DUE and TRUCK Co. 13 FIRST DUE. THE DIME arrived on location to find a two story, ordinary, middle of the row home with SMOKE SHOWING from the first floor. A fire was located in the basement and had extended to the first floor before being extinguished. THE DIME laid and used 150' of 1.5" and 150' of 3" while racking up 1.5 hrs. of Pump Time. TRUCK Co. 13 went to work quickly searching and ventilating before opening up for the engine companies. Yet another FIRST DUE for THE HOUSE OF PAIN.
