Minutes after 2000 hrs. a BOX ALARM was transmitted for a REPORTED HOUSE ON FIRE in the 500 blk. of Tennessee Ave. N.E. bringing TRUCK Co. 13 FIRST DUE and ENGINE Co. 10 SECOND DUE. First arriving units found a Two Story, Ordinary, Middle Of the Row Home with FIRE SHOWING from the second floor. ENGINE Co. 10 went to work laying and using 400' of 1.5" along with 20' of 4" while racking up an hour of pump time. TRUCK Co. 13 laddered the building, ventilated vertically and horizontally, searched the fire floor and opened up for the Engine Companies. The fire was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported. As a side note this is THE HOUSE OF PAIN's LOCAL ALARM AREA, however, due to the never ending renovation of our quarters and relocation of the companies we are pushed back in the run cards...
